Simon & Thy's Restaurant II Wedding
Simon & Thy did a great job of organising their wedding from interstate. As Thy’s family are mostly in Brisbane it was great to see them all together. It was an early start for all the hair and makeup, Thy looked absolutely beautiful in her traditional Vietnamese dress. Then we were off to Thy’s dad’s house for the Tea Ceremony. Simon's family had flown out from the UK and were delighted to be part of the traditional ceremony. Simon’s Mum gifting Thy jewellery. There were so many friends there offering their well wishes. Then everyone sat down for a little lunch of yummy suckling pig yummy. Then it was off to Stamford Plaza to get changed. Thy would now be in a western wedding dress. One of Thy’s relatives designs and makes couture wedding gowns, and this one was made to fit like a glove. The wedding ceremony was held at All Hallow’s a very special place as Thy went to school there. After a few photos everyone was very excited to get to the reception to let their hair down. The reception was held at Restaurant II, this venue is very elegant and ideal for any foodie with a very modern menu. After dinner and some very entertaining speeches everyone danced the night away.
